PROFILERS

It is a set of auxiliary tools for brewing coffee, which can change the contact area between the bottom of the inner wall of the flat-bottom filter cup and the filter paper, thereby changing the extraction intensity and flow rate, and finally obtaining a cup of coffee with a unique profile.

Per piece PROFILERS have different contact surface/free space ratios, from 25% to 85% open area, and each PROFILERS number increases by 15% from No. 1 to No. 5. Adjusting, increasing or decreasing the extraction yield depending on the coffee filter and paper used becomes a tool to experiment with your brewing equipment and find which PROFILERS helps you extract the best results in every brew (coffee-technique-filter-brewer).

PROFILERS are available in two packs. If you already own a Booster 45mm, you only need to buy the 4 Profilers pack to get the full experience.

Fits flat filter bowls with a bottom diameter of 45 mm (most flat filter bowls, such as Orea, Kalita 155 and 185, Fellow, ...) Can be used with any flat filter paper.

Wash with dishwashing liquid and hot water before first use.

How to Brew with PROFILERS

1. Place the PROFILERS inside the flat filter bowl, making sure it is resting on the bottom or bottom groove, in a level and flat position, parallel to the bottom of the bowl.
2. Place the PROFILERS filter into the filter bowl.
3. After inserting the filter paper, rinse it with water to make the filter paper fit the PROFILERS filter.
4. Add coffee and start brewing.
5. Find out which PROFILERS filter is best for you.

How to clean

1. Allow the filter cup to cool naturally at room temperature.
2. Remove the filter paper and filter from the filter bowl. Make sure the PROFILERS filter stays in the filter bowl; it may be at the bottom of the bowl or stuck to the filter paper.
3. Rinse with hot water.
