– We are proud of our care –

Ceramics have long played a supporting role in enriching our daily lives, especially as tableware.

They aren’t the star of the show like the food or flowers, but rather serve as excellent supporting actors, allowing those elements to shine.

Mino is Japan's largest ceramics producing region, where not only potters but also a wide variety of specialized trades and artisans live and work, contributing together to this unique tradition.

Founded over 150 years ago (during the Meiji era), Shinkura Yamamatsu has been working alongside and supporting all those involved in Mino ware. We craft ceramics with care, wholeheartedly striving to bring joy to lives in Japan and around the world.
